• The Children's Ministry Team at livingWATERS is committed to helping your child reach their fullest potential in Christ. We believe that learning should be fun as well as spiritually beneficial, so we seek to use a variety of creative activities to supplement and reinforce each lesson. Our mission is to partner with families in leading children into an intimate relationship with Christ and grow in that relationship through strong Bible teaching and caring adults. Our vision is for livingwaters to be a place where every child finds acceptance and love.  We want to provide a place where children can come to know Jesus better and continue to grow closer to their Savior; a place where children build relationships with people who love God and love them. We hope parents will be impacted by what they see happening in the lives of their children. And we want children to be partners with us in reaching the world for Christ, one heart at a time. Every child can develop a deep, personal faith, firmly grounded in spiritual truths from God’s Word.  We hope every child will reach their teen and adult years faithful practicing spiritual disciplines of service, prayer, worship, personal Bible study, and sacrificial giving by providing:


~ Sunday education opportunities which are age and developmentally appropriate and help children develop an understanding of God and His purpose for their lives.


~ Wednesday small group programs to provide a place where children can build healthy bonds with other children and adults in a safe place.


~ Special events (Christmas program, Advent Workshop, Children’s choir, etc.) to allow the children to worship and praise God through drama, music and art.


~ Hands-on service opportunities within the church and in the world.


~ Community family events (Harvest Festival, Advent Workshop, Easter Outreach, etc.) intended to draw the family closer and connect with other families with in the church and the community.


~ Resources for families.


~ Conduct parenting classes on relevant topics to develop confident parents, build friendships with other parents and provide support in raising countercultural kids.

Nursery

1. Our church family has been growing by leaps and bounds, especially in the baby department. The nursery is self-serve during the 9:30 education hour and is staffed by volunteers during the 10:30 hour. There are chairs available for nursing mothers, a changing table and many age appropriate toys.

Sunday School

9:30 Sunday School for preschooler through 5th grade. Meeting Sept.  through June 6th.

10:30 Families begin in the service together for singing. Kids through 3rd grade are welcome to attend Children's Church during the second half of the service.
